My name is Kadie Bogart. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #MFC53401. I earned my Master's degree in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology from the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute and my Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan. I have also completed advanced training in Sports and Performance Psychology, including a certificate program through the University of Michigan, allowing me to integrate evidence-based performance psychology principles into my work with children, adolescents, and families.
Is your child anxious, shutting down, or acting out more at home than anywhere else? Maybe they're melting down over small things, struggling with big feelings, or you feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells.
Many of the children I work with are "holding it together" at school but fall apart at home. As a parent, that can feel confusing, frustrating, and isolating—especially when you know your child is capable of more, but something just isn't clicking.
I specialize in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, behavioral concerns, and the pressures that often come with school, friendships, extracurricular activities, and growing up in today's world.
Through play-based therapy, evidence-based interventions, and close collaboration with parents, I help children better understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, build confidence, and strengthen resilience. I believe meaningful change happens when children feel understood and parents feel supported, so I work closely with families throughout the therapeutic process.
My practice also incorporates principles of performance psychology. While often associated with athletics, performance psychology benefits any child who experiences pressure to perform—whether academically, socially, artistically, or in sports. Together, we focus on developing the mental skills needed to manage anxiety, navigate setbacks, build confidence, and perform at their personal best.
Whether your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, confidence, or life's everyday challenges, my goal is to provide a warm, collaborative space where children and families feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow together.
In addition to my private practice, I bring over 15 years of experience leading parent education and therapeutic groups through Providence St. John’s Helen Reid Parenting Program, supporting families with a wide range of needs. I have also collaborated with other healthcare professionals, including lecturing alongside former Cornell professor Dr. James Maas on the relationship between sleep and performance, as well as leading workshops on healthy relationships for pre-teen and teenage girls.
